Description

The Nongshim Chapaguri Big Cup (also known as “Ram-Don”) is a convenient, pre-packaged instant noodle version of a famous Korean fusion dish, originally popularized by the Academy Award-winning film Parasite. It perfectly combines the savory, sweet flavor of Nongshim’s Chapagetti (black bean noodles) with the zesty, spicy seafood kick of their Neoguri (udon-style seafood ramen). 

• Texture: The noodles are a signature feature: thick, wavy, and chewy, which hold the rich sauce exceptionally well. The “Big Cup” format (typically 114g or 140g) is designed for convenience, offering a satisfying, substantial meal.
• Flavor: The primary taste is a rich, savory black bean sauce, but unlike the non-spicy Chapagetti, the addition of Neoguri seasoning provides a distinct and pleasant spicy kick.
• Additions: The cup includes vegetable and fish flakes such as dried kelp, dried carrot, and textured vegetable protein, adding diverse textures to the meal. A separate seasoning oil packet (often containing mustard, rice bran, and sesame oil) is added at the end to enhance the aroma and glossy finish. 

1. Preparation: Simply open the lid halfway, pour hot water up to the inner line, and wait for about 4 minutes.
2. Finishing: Drain most of the water through the provided holes (leaving a few tablespoons as preferred), add the soup base and seasoning oil packets, stir well, and enjoy. The cup is often microwave safe for an even chewier noodle texture.
